We are asking you to support our Somerton students on November 5. Vote YES Somerton Bond! Critical funding is needed to maintain schools with safety, security and state-of-the-art facility upgrades.
How will bond funds be spent?
$13 million for new construction and improvements for existing schools (includes construction of a new full-sized school and expansion of existing elementary school)
$1 million for security and safety improvements (includes improvements and replacements for safe, secure, well-maintained and efficient learning environments)
What does the bond cost?
This $14 million bond is projected to cost the average homeowner less than $6.50 per month in additional property taxes.
I urge you to continue to support our children, our future leaders, by voting YES for the Somerton Elementary School District Bond.

What if this Somerton Bond fails?
If the Somerton Schools Bond proposal fails, the District will have to rely upon the limited State funding to meet as many facility, safety, security, and transportation needs as possible. Many projects will go unfunded. In addition, no new elementary school will be built.
